This simply means breathing with a snorting or grunting sound while asleep. 1. CHANGE YOUR SLEEPING POSTURE: 
Instead of sleeping with your face facing the ceiling, you can decide to sleep with your Face downward or side-west. Practice that until it becomes a habit in you. 

2. LOOSE SOME WEIGHT; 
Extra flesh in your throat may be creating some resistance against the free flow of air and and that will certainly result to terrible and earth shaking snoring. Therefore, it may not actually be from your sleeping position alone. In this case, you just gotta let some flesh go off.

3. STOP SMOKING 
When you make smoking a lifestyle, a time cometh that those ciliated epithelial cells capable of pushing debris and other xenobiotics out of your throat will be crippled. Consequently, your throat get stalked with debris and mucors, giving just little or no passage for air at all. This will therefore increase air resistance and Consequently, snoring. 

4. TALK TO YOUR PARTNER 
Sometimes he or she may not really believe the fact that she is a victim of snoring not until you open up to her and look into it amicably.
