Petra Akinti Onyegbule has been appointed as the first ever female chief press secretary in Kogi state.
Onyegbule’s appointment which was confirmed on Tuesday also makes her the first in her position in northern Nigeria.
Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi state, yesterday confirmed the appointment.
She is also the second ever female CPS in Nigeria and presently the only female CPS.
It would be recalled that prior to her new designation, Petra was Bello’s special assistant on electronic media.
