POWER SECTOR TRAINING :200 YOUTHS DEPARTS FOR ABUJA

 


The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,  Rt Hon Victor Antai has adviced beneficiaries of the state government Power Sector training to be good ambassadors of the state while on training. 

The Commissioner gave the advice earlier today while addressing the last batch of participants who are drawn from the 31 local governments areas of the state before their departure to Abuja for the training.

According the Commissioner who was addressing the beneficiaries onbehalf of Governor Udom Emmanuel, said the purpose of the training is to make them to be self employed and be able to fend for themselves and contribute to the development of the state and Nigeria in general. 

He advised them to be of good conduct as everything have been put in place for them while on the training. 
He noted that the beneficiaries are both OND, HND and Degree holders and are selected on merit. 

Reacting, one of the beneficiary from Etim Ekpo Mr Akan Emah  thank  the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for investing on Youth development and advice the youths of Akwa Ibom State to embrace the Dakkada Philosophy and rise to Greatness, Mr Akan also thank the Governor for the mode of selecting the youths.
