The traditional marriage ceremony between Barrister Mfon Ben – Transition Chairman, Uyo Local Government Council, Akwa Ibom State and his wife Bridget, ended in rubble and bleached bones as residents of Eyulor Oruko, Urueoffong/Oruko, disrupted the well-attended event destroying tents, equipment and other items.
The cause of the sudden chaos and number of causualies are not known as at the time of this report. The event was held on Saturday 24th June 2017.
