The Honourable Member Representing Mbo State Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Education, Hon. Samuel Ufuo has assured final year Students of Mbo in tertiary institutions his preparedness to always assist the Students annually as long as he remains in office.
Hon. Ufuo stated this while redeeming his pledge by giving 69 final year Students and two Law Students in Nigerian Law School financial assistance to aide their projects. While the final year students collected 20,000 each, Law School Students collected 40,000 each.
The South South Publicity Secretary of PDP, Bishop Ulap Etim Ante who presented the cash to the students said he will partner with the Honourable Member in subsequent batch to assist Mbo Students.
The Students expressed joy for the noble gesture of Hon. Samuel Ufuo and pledge their total support to the Honourable Member in his reelection bid.
Hon. Samuel Ufuo was accompanied by his wife Obonganwan Mrs Kate Edeke Ufuo, his Special Assistant, Martin Effiong and Special Assistant to the Governor on Projects Monitoring, Godswill Ekpenyong, Eteyen Imisim.
