Born on 15th February, 1973 into the family of Mr/Mrs. Charles Udo Udofia of Ibiaku Okpo in Ikono Local Government is Rt. Hon Victor Udofia, the member representing Ikono State Constituency in today present Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
Today marks his 44th year on earth, he is a businessman who grew from a motor spare part dealer in Port Harcourt to the own a company with subsidiaries of investment in Agriculture, Construction, clearing and forwarding, commerce, mining and transportation etc.
Thou he resigned from the company to serve his people from 2008 as chairmanship hopeful but failed he was not deterred; he won Ikono State Constituency in 2011 and has since been representing his people effectively.
Rt. Hon Victor Udofia has attracted over 10 kilometers of road to Ikono , thereby making his former sleepily Ibaiku Ntok Okpo a small Vatican. He has also attracted the construction of a 4.6 kilometer Mbiabong – Nkari Road project which is ongoing for his brothers far away in Ini Local Government. There are several other projects like schools renovation, water projects etc. attracted by the lawmaker.
As a lawmaker who has the interest of the youths at heart, Rt. Hon Victor Udofia sponsored a billed in the State House of Assembly aimed at ensuring that companies operating in the state give employment concession to Akwa Ibom youths.
We today join the family and good people of Ikono Local Government Area to celebrate this lawmaker at 44, who has risen from grass to grace. Happy Birthday Sir
