The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Uyo Branch Commiserates with the Akwa Ibom State Government on the unfortunate disaster that occurred at Reigners Bible Church, Uyo on Saturday 10th December 2016.
The Society condoles with the families of the victims and pray for the peaceful reposed of the souls of the deceased at the bosom of their creator.
Meanwhile, the Chairman has directed the prevention, investigation and failure analysis committee of NSE UYO BRANCH to commence an investigation to unveil the immediate and remote causes of the unfortunate incident.
Also, the Engineering Regulatory and Monitoring (ERM)team of COREN had since commenced independent Investigation into the subject matter. Authority, Members of the Church and public are advised to cooperate with these causes to unravel the immediate and remote causes of this unfortunate incidence to avert future reoccurrence.
Preliminary reports will soon be made public.
