The Mboho Ndito Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly have been advised to be good ambassadors in their post of duty and be united so as to truly depict persons that their roots could be traced to Nsit Atai, the 'Centre of Unity'.
The advise was given when a group of members of Staff who are indigenes of Nsit Atai Local Government Area in the employ of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly had an audience with the Honorable Member representing Nsit Atai Atai Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Mark Esset.
The visibly elated lawmaker commended the group for organizing the round table parley and appreciated them for showing a high sense of unity and cordiality. In his words, "I commend you for making us to meet ourselves as a family. As your representative, I must know you, know what is happening around you and know how you all are faring in you respective duty post".
Elder Mark Esset assured the group of his massive support to the cause of the group, individually and collectively. " I assure you all that my stay here as your representative will be of beneficial to you all. If you have any problem, you are free to come to my office which is always open for all and sundry, I will try my best to assist you in the best of my ability ", he assured.
Earlier, an address was presented on behalf of the group by the Secretary, Lucy Idongesit Etim. The address reads in part, "Let us use this opportunity to thank the Almighty God for his love and mercies towards us. We sincerely appreciate you for accepting this remarkable visit despite your tight schedule.....You are a philanthropist, a man of honor who we really appreciate, love and believe; a great leader with a large heart, and appreciated by those who have the opportunity of meeting with you, why? Because you are a man of outstanding and distinctive integrity".
The President of the group, Mr. Ekong Edet Akpan appreciated the lawmaker and commended him for giving Nsit Atai people a voice in the Hallow Chamber of the Assembly. He further vowed to continually stay in unity so as to bring a good attribute to Nsit Atai State Constituency.
Elder Mark Esset showed love by footing the transport fare bills of all individual of the group who attended the meeting.
In attendance were the Peoples Democratic Party Chapter Chairman of Nsit Atai, Mr. Chrisantus Effiong Okon; The immediate past Chairman of Nsit Atai LGA, Hon Smart Ben. Also in attendance was an indigene of Nsit Atai who is the Chief Press Secretary to Speaker Onofiok Luke, Mr. Kufre Okon and a cross section of Mboho Ndito Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
