The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly ad-hoc Committee to investigate the Newspaper publications of beneficiaries for the Anchor Poultry Borrowers Scheme has revoked the Warrant of Arrest it issued on Elder Ufot Ebong.

Elder Ebong who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process was summoned by the ad hoc committee to explain his role in the alleged irregularities in the poultry scheme but failed to appear in the several probe sessions of the committee.

Ebong had begged to be excused from sessions until he was back from Morocco where he attended the Climate Change Conference.
