...As Traders hail Hon. Usoro Akpanusoh

Determined to enhance the socio-economic well-being of his constituents, the member representing Esit-Eket/Ibeno state Constituency in the Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly, Hon. Usoro Akpanusoh has hinted that he will soon flagg off the disbursement of a N50 Million facility to women in Esit Eket as part of his grassroot empowerment programme.
He made the disclosure, tuesday when he received in audience, traders from Eket senatorial district under the aegis of 'Akwa Ibom Traders Network'.
The lawmaker who is the Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation and Finance explained the fund is to be managed by a micro finance bank. He said the loan which will be given for the women to engage in trade at one percent interest rate.
"I have deposited the sum of N50 Million with Capital Bridge Microfinance Bank to use that money and give loan to Esit-Eket/Ibeno women. The loan is coming with an interest rate of one percent.(1%)".
Addressing the traders in his office, the Assembly member maintained said that he was passionate for the upliftment of the well-being of his people, and vowed to use hos office to better the lot of his constituents.
Leader of the Traders Network, Mrs. Grace Ima-obong appreciated the lawmaker for his effective representation in the House of Assembly, and use the opportunity to intimate him of the forth coming first ever traders day to be hosted in Eket, and solicited the support of Hon. Usoro for its successful hosting.
