No crisis between PDP Youth leaders, Governor’s aide – Party spokesman

The Akwa Ibom State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Comrade (Barr) Ini Ememobong has dispelled reports that there is a brewing crisis between Youth Leaders of the party and the Governor’s Special Assistant on Youth Matters, Aniefiok Wilson Iwaudofia (Read Story here).

This was contained in a press release signed by the party’s spokesman and made available to TheMailNewspaper.

Comrade Ememobong said the news of the alleged dispute between the youth leaders and the governor’s aide is the handiwork of mischief makers as the state party’s secretariat is unaware of any crisis between “these strong members of the party”.

“My attention has been drawn to a news item circulating around online platforms concerning an alleged dispute between the youth leaders of the party and the special assistant to the governor on youth matters.

“This can only be the handiwork of mischief makers and the result of a very fertile imagination capable of producing a bestseller fiction. The state party secretariat is unaware of any crisis between these strong members of the party.

“Where there are conflicts, there exists sufficient internal conflict resolution mechanism within the party structure for members to explore.

“I urge party members to ignore the story and continue to keep faith with the party”, Ememobong stated in the release.
