The ancient Kingdom of Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra State recorded a bumber harvest of personalities from all walks of life on the 12th August, 2016 who trooped to the Palace of His Royal Highness, Igwe (COL.) C.O.A MUOGHALU, (rtd), the Isu II of Isuofia to witness the conferment of an Honorary Chieftaincy Title of ONWA ISUOFIA on the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Africa's leading Asset financing company: Amaecom Global Limited - DR MARCEL OFOMATA.
Recounting the contributions made by the Honoree, the Monarch expressed total satisfaction with the valuable contributions DR OFOMATA has brought to the community, state, country and the world at large stating that these are part of the justification for the conferment of the Honorary Chieftaincy Title of ONWA ISUOFIA on him.
In his words " You are an illustrious son, you have done the community proud, these reasons are not far - fetch, upon the recommendations, scrutiny and adoption of the Igwe's Traditional Rulers' Council of our community, you are hereby confirmed and conferred with an Honorary Chieftaincy Title of ONWA ISUOFIA for upward shining and attraction of more development to our community and beyond, with all the Rights, duties and Privileges attached, congratulations, the Igwe stressed with enormous chants.
It could be recalled that the Honoree is the Founder of MARCEL OFOMATA FOUNDATION which has Tens of students from the community enjoying full scholarship from the Primary, Secondary and University levels of education, sponsorship of an annual free Medical Treatment/Diagnosis in the community in conjunction with Imabridge Africa, United States of America, donation of many Tricycles to members of the community, donation of a revolving seed money of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500, 000) to Ozalla Uhuana Women, facilitation of the building of a cottage hospital in his community during his tenure as the Chairman of a foremost ODIRAA CHUKWUMA AGE GRADE, sponsorship of annual get - together of Isuofia Peoples Union Federated-Akwa Ibom Chapter, recommendations of the Youths for international trips and trainings, sponsorship of Friendly Football Novelties / Pageantry for the Youths as well as employment opportunities to many indigenes within and outside among others.
The community was unanimous in praying for more grace upon the Honoree towards advancing the frontiers of the ideals that earns him the conferment.

Dignitaries at the occasion were Head of Service, Anambra State, the Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegu University, Awka, National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigerian (represented), Commissioners from different states, Principal, Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Training Centre, Company Secretary of Amaecom Global Limited, Imabridge Africa, USA, Rotary Club of Abuja and Uyo, Management and Staff of Amaecom Global Limited, Isuofia Peoples Union Federated-Abuja and Akwa Ibom Chapters, socio-cultural and social organizations to mention but a few.
In his swift response, the Honoree, CHIEF (DR.) MARCEL OFOMATA who could not reserved his Happiness and gratitude thank the Igwe, the Traditional Rulers' Council, the community, all the guests, friends and family who have been supportive in all ramifications.
The Harvard Business School, USA trained Manager pledged to consolidate on the gains and foundation already established for the period under review for the betterment of the society.
