*Promises Harmonious Working Relationship
The palace of the Clan Head of Offot Ukwa and Village Head of Eniong Offot; Etebom Sylvanus Effiong Okon, today played host to a government team, made up of the State Commissioner For Lands & Town Planning; Prince Uwem Ita Etuk, alongside, the Permanent Secretary; Dr John Marckson, State Surveyor-General; Mrs Emem Isong, Directors of the Ministry of Lands and Town Planning, and other technocrats.
They were well received by the Clan Head in Council and other monarchs, the Chairman, Eniong Offot Village Council, Chief Edem Udo, the Village Head of Anua Offot; Ekpuk Head Atai Eniong Offot, family heads and advisers as well as members of Eniong Offot and Anua Offot village Councils.
Leader of the government team; a very hard working Commissioner, Prince Uwem Ita Etuk, assured that government has no plan to witch- hunt the people even as he sued for collaboration so as to help the Udom Emmanuel government, correct boundary disputes in the area, which has been unresolved for ages.
The monarchs were full of joy and promised a harmonious working relationship while the re-demarcation exercise lasted.
