The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) Akwa State council to hold her 3rd triennial delegates conference in Uyo on Thursday 3,March 2016 at Ibom hall with the theme; "The Role of Trade Unions in the Sustenance of Democracy and Development".
This was contained in a Press Release signed by the TUC chairman, Comrade Akamba Awah and the Secretary, Comrade Dominic Abang and made available to newsmen in Uyo.
According to the release, those to grace the event are the National Headquarters delegation which will led by the national President of the trade Union Congress, Comrade Bobboi Kaigama and its secretary general among several other dignitaries.
The conference will be officially declared open by the executive governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on Thursday, 3 march at Ibom Hall along IBB way by 10am prompt.
As part of her programme, the conference will also witness election of new officers that would run the affairs of the union for the next 3years.
