-Reaffirms Support for Governor Udom Emmanuel
In line with Ati Annang's objective of promoting unity and love among Annang indigenes, the association's newly inaugurated International Exco led by Rt Hon Sir Udo Kierian Akpan has met with student leaders from Annang Land currently serving in all Tertiary Institutions in Akwa Ibom State.
In the epochal meeting, which was aimed at fraternizing with the student leaders, the 8 Local Government Chapter Presidents and their Secretaries; Akuku in Council and their secretaries; Secretaries, national presidents and their secretaries; and members of SUG leadership from Annang in all higher institutions were mobilized to discuss the possibility of establishing a Student wing for Ati Annang in all Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
The meeting which took place on the 3rd of March, 2015 at Entry Point Hotel, Uyo, was also marked by an open deliberation between the international Exco and the student leaders.
The international President of Ati Annang, a foremost socio-cultural organization in Annang Nation, highlighted the need for all Annang people to work towards love and unity in Annang land in order to reap the dividends that teamwork would bring to Annang Land.
He also stressed the need for all Annang sons and daughters to remain loyal and give 100% support to the Government of Deacon Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State.
Comrade Kierian also advised the students to go back home and identify with their various local chapters while preparing for the inauguration of chapters in their various to enable them enjoy the benefits of Ati Annang Foundation.
Representatives of the students expressed gratitude to the International President for the opportunity offered them to partner with Ati Annang. They agreed to take the message back to other Annang indigenes in their respective institutions, and to work with the International Exco to create local chapters in their respective institutions.
