A legal luminary, Chief Paul Usoro has described the call by Senator Ita Enang for the swearing -in of the Chief Judge of the State , as a clear case of mockery of the Nigeria’s constitutions.
Chief Usoro , the head legal counsel to Governor Udom Emmanuel said Mr Udom Emmanuel will remain the executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State till after the decision by the Supreme Court.
He therefore described the Judgement of the Appeal Court as a clear Judiciary robbery, that if not checked , could lead to none compliance of Court Judgement by citizens.
The Akwa Ibom born international lawyer said that the Appeal Court has contradicted itself, as it has been held by Supreme Court, that any evident that was not admitted by the Tribunal cannot be used to determine ruling in the Appeal and supreme Courts.
Another factor that also indicated that the Judgement was stage managed by an outsider forces , was the use of the Card Reader and collation result, which both the Appeal Court and Supreme Court held , that it annot invalidate an election .
‘’Senator Ita Enang’s words should not be considered, as he is merely dreaming. Governor Udom Emmanuel remains the ‘’de-facto’’ Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
Akwa Ibom people should go about their normal businesses as the Supreme Court , known for their thorough and prudent Justice system , will not annul the election of Governor Udom Emmanuel .
