* Rising from a meeting with Chairmen and Secretaries of Registered Political Parties, the Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC) has fixed November 11th 2017 for election of Chairmen and Councillors into the 31 Area Councils of the state.
* Political Parties wishing to participate in the elections are to register at AKISEC within 14 days from today Wednesday, 28th 2017.
* A Comprehensive time table of Pre – election activities to be made public.
