The Secretary general of the Akwa Ibom State University Students’ Union Government, comrade Ukeme Jacob had convey his congratulatory message to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Eno James Ibanga, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued by comrade Augustine Ntekim, the media aide to the Secretary-General, and make available to newsmen on campus. Comrade Ukeme Jacob highlighted the utmost grace and dignity with which Prof Eno Ibanga, carries as a seasoned academic scholar. He also noted the high quality of infrastructural development and full accreditation of courses in the University which he referred to the vice chancellor as “Mr Infrastructure.”
He said “You are indeed a scholar of inestimable value with rare accomplishments. Having been a student of this University and whereas you have been great source of inspiration and support to students unionism, a father of modern unionism, a leader among leaders. I hope you will realise how awesome a person you are and how proud and thankful we the members of the SUG Executive(s), the Parliament and the entire students of this great institution have been for having you as our Vice Chancellor .
On this special occasion of yours, I join your family, the university community, college of Dean’s, students Union Government and friends in celebrating your life and work, as I earnestly pray that God continue to guide, direct and protect you, and your family, and to give you and your administration the strength to continue to provide the needed leadership and development for our students.
