Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Media, Mr Aniekeme Finbarr has invited the government and people of Akwa Ibom State to grace his Thanksgiving service and witness the dedication of his first daughter, Miss Ti-Abasi Aniekeme Finbarr.
A release signed by the Governor's media aide indicates that the church service will hold at St Paul's Catholic Church, Itam in Uyo the state capital.
The thanksgiving mass which will is slated to begin by 10am will be celebrated by the former Secretary of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Monsignor Michael Ekpenyong accompanied by several other Catholic priests from Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and Abuja Dioceses.
The release also indicates that the dedication service will be followed by a reception ceremony at the Civil Service Auditorium at the Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat immediately after the church service.
Speaking to this reporter, the celebrator and the Governor's media assistant praised God for the special honour of being blessed with a special gift from heaven
"My brother, we are grateful to God for this special gift to us at this time. I can't hide it, I'm very excited. I look forward to Sunday with great joy.
Let me also thank his excellency, the Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, my mentors, family and friends for their kind support so far and for their prayers. To God be the glory!"
