We join the rest of the well meaning members of the public to mark the International Day of Charity 5th September 2016. with the tag: ELDERLY CARE IN FOCUS.
On this International Day of Charity, the United Nations invites all member state, regional and international organizations as well as civil society including nongovernmental organizations and individuals to commemorate the day in an appropriate manner by encouraging charity, fundraising and public awareness activities.
This year, House of Ambience reaffirms her commitment to community services and innovative awareness by collaborating with the "SOCIETY FOR GERIATRIC HEALTH" an elderly care home located in the city of uyo to mark this day by creating awareness and mobilizing for support for elderly care.
EVENT SYNOPSIS
The House of Ambience team and the Society for Geriatric Health care givers will be waiting to welcome visitors from 10am on Monday 5th September 2016.
Event day activities will include :
* Arrival of guests/visitors
* A guided tour of the home.
* interaction with aged inmates & visiting aged
* photo session
* Donations
* entertainment
* Departure.
