In times past, photography was looked at as a low-life business venture, but today photographers have become among celebrated names in the media and lifestyle business across the globe.
On the 27th June, 2016 in the city of Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom State, the management of Newaves Innovations, an organisation with cutting-edge passion for the development of the Niger Delta region, organized the just concluded Niger Delta Investment Summit & 7th Merit Awards held at Ibom Le Meridien and Golf Resort.
The event recognized and honoured illustrious sons and daughters of the region for their support in building a formidable force in their various fields of endeavour.
One of such persons is Mr. Obinna Kingsley Osumuo, CEO of Digital Suite Media who was rewarded with an award for ‘Creativity and Enterprise’.
Obinna’s journey into photography started in 2004 and by passion, laced with consistence, his Digital Suite Media has become a household name and one of the major players that changed the perspective of photography and multimedia business in the state.
More so, it has contributed immensely in the area of social growth and job creation by building the passion into a big venture to employ well over 50 permanent staff and 20 ad hoc to cater for clients from across Nigeria.
Niger Delta Investment Summit also seeks to identify new investment opportunities in the region and encourage the younger generation to see greater possibilities in their own future
