The 19-year-old who was the Most Valuable Player of the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea Republic told Sky Sports after Wednesday’s match: “It feels amazing and everyone has made me feel welcome already.
“Even just pulling on the training top, I was over the moon. Hopefully I can put on the shirt in the near future and make some good history here.”

Liverpool will play against Leicester City in the final of the tournament on Saturday while West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace will play in the losers’ final.
