Nigerian forward, Isaac Success, was on from the start for Watford who pipped UEFA Champions League qualifying campaigners Viktoria Plzen of Czech Republic 1-0 in a pre-season friendly game in Austria on TuesdayCompletesportsnigeria.com reports.
Success was however replaced by Jerome Sinclair in the 68th minute.
The only goal of the game was scored by Stefano Okaka who stabbed home from close-range off an assist from substitute Will Hughes.
The game against Viktoria Plzen was Watford’s third pre-season after initial meetings Woking (1-1) and AFC Wimbledon (3-2 loss).
The Hornets next pre-season game is against Spanish LaLiga side Eibar on Saturday.
