Nigerian forward, Sone Aluko, was on target for his English Championship club Fulham who defeated Queens Park Rangers’ U-23s 4-2 in a behind-closed-doors pre-season friendly game at Motspur Park, London on Wednesday.
Aluko also scored one of Fulham’s goals in their 2-2 pre-season friendly against FC Zlin last Saturday.
Ibrahima Cisse put Fulham 1-0 up in the 15th minute but Dan Darbyshire equalised for QPR’s U-23s on 26 minutes.
Aluko made it 2-1 in favour of Fulham in the 35th minute and was replaced before the start of the second half.
In the 49th minute, Fulham’s youth player Matthew O’Riley scored to give his team a 3-1 lead before Stefan Johansen added a fourth on 53 minutes.
With two minutes remaining, Osman Kakay got on the score sheet for QPR’s U-23s to end the game 4-2.
Fulham will take on Bundesliga club Wolfsburg on Saturday, July 29, in another pre-season game.
