Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru got his Anderlecht career off to a great start on Saturday by scoring in a friendly win over SK Lierse, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Anderlecht defeated their Belgian rivals 2-0 with Onyekuru, who is on loan from Everton, scoring the second goal late on.
Sven Kums opened scoring for Anderlecht in the 26th minute but the Belgian giants could not find a second until Onyekuru intervened.
The Super Eagles striker, 20, on as a substitute, sealed the win for Anderlecht in the 87th minute off a Sofia Hanni assist to continue his goalscoring form from last season.
Onyekuru scored a remarkable 22 league goals for modest Eupen in the Belgian top flight last season to earn him rave reviews all over Europe.
His impressive scoring return earned him a £7m move to Everton, who then loaned him to Anderlecht for next season.
