Former Super Eagles captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’s Okocha, will be captain of the former Nigeria stars who will participate in the Star Sixies Football tournament in London, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Nigeria’s Group B also has China PR, Italy and Brazil who will feature superstars that played at the FIFA World Cup and other club and international competitions.
The Star Sixies is the first ever competitive football tournament for iconic former international players and the inaugural edition will hold at the O2 Arena, London.
Ten former players signed up for each country for the tournament that ends on Sunday July 16, the tournament’s website, www. starsixies. com informed.
Nigeria will parade former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Okocha, Peter Rufai (goalkeeper), Celestine Babayaro, Uche Okechukwu, Joseph Yobo, Taribo West, Garba Lawal, Victor Ikpeba, Julius Aghahowa and Daniel Amokachi in the tournament.
