Reigning Nigeria sprint queen, Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor, has revealed that she is looking forward to the 2017 Diamond League in Rabat after finishing third behind Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson and Dafne Schpippers at the Muller Anniversary Games – London Diamond League last Sunday reportsCompletesportsnigeria.com.

Okagbare admits she is in good condition at the moment and believes she is gradually getting back to her best form ahead of the meeting this Sunday.

The former African champion will feature in the women’s 100m along with Ahye Michelle-Lee, Baptistie Kelly-Ann, Brown Aaliyah, Levy Jura, Neita Daryll, Ta Lou Marie-Josée, Elaine Thompson and Christania Williams.

“I’m not going to trust in my health, how I’m running fast or slow. I’m just trusting on God,” Okagbare states in a video posted online by Making of Champions ahead of the meeting in Rabat.

“I’m where I want to be now. I’m where God wants me to be. I have Rabat in Morocco next and after that, I will focus more on the World Championship.”

Recall that Rabat made its Diamond League debut last year when the 14-meeting global series headed to Africa for the first time
