Former Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie on Sunday evening expressed his elation at scoring two goals earlier in the day in an Indonesian Liga game, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Odemwingie took his tally to eleven goals in eleven matches with his two strikes for his team in a 2-1 win against Persib. Madura United are now second in the table with 25 points, a point behind league leaders Persatuan Sepakbola Makassar (PSM).
Odemwingie is also happy with the support from Madura United supporters.
He took to his Twitter handle, @OdemwingieP to celebrate.
“Good 3-1 win for @MaduraUnitedFC today against @persib,” he tweets.
“Happy to add another two (goals) ⚽️⚽️. Great support from our fans again.”
Nigerian-born Indonesian international Gregory Nwokolo set up Odemwingie’s second goal on Sunday and then added the third of the match.
