Nigerian forward, Samuel Kalu, was on target for KAA Gent in their 3-1 pre-season friendly win against French Ligue 2 club, RC Lens at the Stade Felix Bollaert in France on Friday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Yuya Kubo opened scoring for Gent when he scored in the 24th minute to put his team 1-0 up.
Danijel Milicevic made it 2-0 in favour of Gent after converting a 32nd minute penalty kick.
RC Lens pulled a goal back when Ivan Lendric converted a penalty with six minutes remaining.
In the 90th minute, Kalu got on the scoresheet to secure the win for Gent.
Gent’s next pre-season game comes up on Saturday against Belgian club, Beerschot-Wilrijk.
