The Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), has hinted that operatives of the Biafra Intelligence Agency (BIA) have been deployed to the Northern States to help in the evacuation of Ndigbo living in the North ahead of the October 1 quit notice by Arewa youths.
It has also directed “all Eze Ndigbo in the 19 Northern states to immediately commence the compilation of names, residential addresses, villages and communities of all Igbo living in the states of their residence.”
According to MASSOB, the secret agents are already assisting Ndigbo living in the North to facilitate the process of their relocation to the South East before the deadline to avoid being caught up in another pog-rom.
“This is to save our people from genocidal annihilation,” MASSOB said in a statement signed by its National Director of Information, Comrade Samuel Edesonu.
The statement said that MASSOB after its emergency Executive meeting presided over by its Leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, enjoined Ndigbo still living in the North not to joke with the quit notice to avoid the ugly experience of 1967 genocide.
MASSOB declared August as the month of Igbo mass exodus from the North and advised any Igbo man who thinks he has good reasons not to heed the quit notice to at least send his families home by August.
The pro- Biafra group also tasked wives of Ndigbo living in the North to pester their husbands until they comply with the relocation order before the October 1 expiration date.
It said all counter opinions by some Northerners and some Igbo leaders on the quit notice by Arewa youths are only after-thoughts and should be ignored as those behind the quit notice have not relaxed it nor shown any remorse.
MASSOB directed “all Eze Ndigbo in the 19 Northern states to immediately commence the compilation of names, residential addresses, villages and communities of all Igbo living in the states of their residence.”
The statement further said that “after the September 10 deadline for the compilation, MASSOB will embark on an investigation of all Eze Ndigbo in Northern cities to ascertain their level of participation in this an-cestral order”.
MASSOB urged Eze Ndigbo in Northern cities to carry out the compilation of “our kinsmen data as a na-tive and ancestral exercise.
“We appeal to them not to betray this act of nobility because of their individual interest or favour from Hausa/ Fulani”.
