Emenike’s Olympiacos, Ogu’s Hapoel, Ajax Get Tough Champions League Ties

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike’s Greek club Olympiacos have been drawn against either Partizan of Serbia or Buducuost Podgorica of Macedonia in the third qualifying round of the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The draw was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday and Olympiacos go away for the first leg.

Israeli champions Hapoel Beer-Sheva, who parade Nigerian duo John Ogu and Anthony Nwakaeme, could face Latvia’s Zalgiris Vilnius or Ludogorets of Bulgaria.

Hapoel hold a 2-1 first leg lead against Hungary’s Budapest Honved in the first leg of the second qualifying round.

Last season’s Europa League beaten finalists Ajax will be guests to French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice also in the third qualifying round.

Russian champions CSKA Moscow will go away to Greek club AEK Athens, while Club Brugge will host Turkey’s Istanbul Basaksehir.

The games will be played on 25 and 26 July/1 and 2 August, 2017.
