AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci from Serie A champions Juventus on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Bonucci’s signing was announced on AC Milan’s official website on Thursday with a statement which reads: “AC Milan are delighted to announce the signing of Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus FC. The player has penned a five-year contract through to 30 June 2022.”
Bonucci joined Juventus in 2010 where he made 227 appearances, scoring 15 goals.
At Juventus, Bonucci won six Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia and three Italia Supercoppa.
He was a member of the Italian squad to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and also in Brazil 2014 World Cup.
