Senator Ben-Murray Bruce recently shared pictures of him beside the historic aircraft with registration number 5N-AER used by OJUKWU during his active period for the emancipation of the Republic of Biafra.
On his social media page, he wrote:
"This is the plane Ojukwu left Nigeria with and fled to Ivory coast after the civil war. Nigeria can do better by
fixing this plane and sending it to a museum."

The Aircraft with the name is Hawker Siddeley 125 (HS-125) and it was a presidential aircraft as at the time. Hawker Siddeley 125 (HS-125) was flown into the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria in serviceable working condition and parked.
The Aircraft which is parked in front of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering School Hangar is now used for training of Pilots/Aircraft Engineers as well as a tourism object.

Senator Ben thinks the plane should be fixed and sent to a museum. What do you think?
