Recently, The Executive Council of Ibiaku Ikot Ese Youth Development Council was constituted.
The council which was constituted by the village head of Ikot Ese community, Chief Okon Akpan Udo has a 14-Man member as it is drawn from the seven families that made up the community. The Village head therefore called on all to support the group.

He unveiled the terms of reference of the council which include; to liaise with all construction companies working in and around the community, making sure they bring about the needed development to the community.
Also speaking, The deputy village head of the community Chief Okpon Edem Okpon promised the group a full support of the village council. He also said as the patriotic front of the community the Council must ensure peace, Justice and Development in the community; and The council is the mouthpiece of community.
The council has the former Community Liaison Officer (CLO), Hamakopp Consortium, Mr. Kingsley Idiongette as The Chairman, Akparawa Emmanuel Edem- Vice Chairman, Mr. Christopher Akpan- Secretary, Rev. Godwin Udo- Assistant Secretary.
Others includes; Mr. Aniefiok Nyong- Treasurer, Mr. Etiyene Edem- Welfare Officer, Mr. Joshua Essien Etim- Financial Secretary, Mr. Edwin Edem- PRO, Godwin Asuquo Udo- Technical Adviser, Marvelous Akpan- Member, Pastor Etim Etim- member.
In his word, Barr Ubong Essien stressed that as a legal adviser of the community he preferred thing to be done accordingly because who to be sued must be sued, if someone act contrary to the law, saying such a person must face the full weight of the law. He finally introduced his colleague Barr. Raymond Umoiyak to administer the oath of office.
Performing the inauguration, Barr. Raymond Umoiyak of the Sweet and Lyn Chambers, called on members of the council to live up to expectation advising them to always respect the office in which they are called upon to serve stressing that a good can deserves another.
