SGF Babachir Lawal Corruption Case : Company Documents Leaked

SGF Babachir lawal's company documents leaked in the wake of illegally awarded PINE contracts

Politics Nigeria has obtained more evidence of the shady PINE contracts awarded to companies owned by Secretary general to the federation, Babachir Lawal.

Lawal has been under serious fire for illegally awarding contracts worth millions of naira to his own companies. Lere Olayinka, an aide to Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti, stated that lawal could not account for the billions of naira earmarked for the rehabilitation of IDPs in the north. In his words;

Remember you heard PINE, led by SGF Lawal, could not account for N2.5bn allocated to it for the alleviation of the suffering of IDPs in the Northeast.

Remember you heard Josmon technologies Ltd got the contract from Lawal-led Presidential Initiative on Northeast (PINE) to clear grass for N248, 939, 231.

Remember you also heard Rholavision Engineering is owned by him.

You even heard Rholavision got N200m kickback from a contract the SGF awarded for the clearing of “invasive plant species” (grass) in Yobe State.

Now you know Josmon Technologies Ltd made cash deposits of N10 million into Lawal’s company’s (Rholavision Engineering Ltd) account 20 times from March 29, making N200m.

Remember the SGF claimed he resigned from his company on August 15, 2015, and as a result was not a party to whatever business it contracted.

Now you see documents from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) showing he was a Director of Rholavision Engineering until September 16, 2016.

Of which you know Lawal awarded the contract to Josmon Technologies Ltd on March 8, while the company made cash deposits until September when he resigned from Rholavision Engineering.

You heard chunk of the contract sum was forwarded to his personal accounts.

Now you see documents showing funds moving from the contractors account to SGF Babachir Lawal's personal accounts.
