The Peoples Democratic Party Youth Leader of Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Enobong Harry, yesterday after Rt Hon Onofiok Luke Constituency Thanksgiving and Briefing at Nsit Ubium Council Secretariat, described the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, as a super model worth emulating in people's oriented governance.
Hon Harry, who stated this shortly after the event said Barr. Onofiok Luke's humility, dedication to service of humanity is very rare and will ever remain distinctive. He also praised the lawmaker for allowing God to laid his foundation.
According to him , "Barr. Onofiok Luke's passion in sowing seeds in the vineyard of God and selfless service towards humanity are worthy principles we all must emulate as propelling ladder to any height."
"Our youths should consistently endeavour to walk on the path of the speaker's exemplary trademark on daily basis so as to earn a befitting honour and results."
"As a golden fish that cannot be hidden; I'm so much elated to express my satisfaction on the Calibre of Personalities far and near,who came to accord ovations on Mr. Speaker, this will help to reshape our youth mindsets to realise that selfless leadership and loyalty both to the party and elders matters a lot in politics." He added.
The State Youth Leader further reiterated his unalloyed support for the administration of Mr Udom Emmanuel assuring that PDP will surely deliver above expectations.
The occasion which heralded with an exceptional display of effective representation to the people of Nsit Ubium witnessed the presentation of car gifts, business start-up fund for the youths, scholarship to students in tertiary institutions, ten mini buses, six saloon cars to aid women in rural transportation,ten motorcycles, welding machines, hair dressing machines, generators and sewing machines etc.
In his address, the Chief Celebrant, Rt. Hon Onofiok Luke said he had realised a lot of gains in human capital development hence his decision to provide the people with the means of salvaging hunger and poverty.
He further reaffirmed his promises of always keeping in close touch with his people even as he vowed to ensure Governor Udom Emmanuel is given another four years mandate come 2019.
