The wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State , Deaconess Martha Udom Emmanuel , through her Family Empowerment and Youths Reorientation Programme (FEYReP) has taken over the treatment of Mrs Patience Utin who was burnt beyond recognition by Kerosene explosion ,when she was trying to lit up her stove for cooking .
Mrs Ime Inyang , the coordinator of FEYReP made this known to superior Performance media network (Superior performance Digest, Superior Performance TV and Superior Performance Radio show ) during a media briefing for the coming December edition of the Magazine and Television Documentary that the wife of the Governor was moved with compassion, after visiting the victim in the hospital and ordered that the victim’s medical bills and well being should immediately be taken over by her office .
In her words Mrs Inyang says ‘’we have moved the Victim to University of Uyo Teaching Hospital for adequate healthcare services and if we are not satisfied with her pace of recovery, we will seek for professional advice to where she will be treated sufficiently and plastic surgery is not ruled out in order to restore her face to its former State and even better’’ she concluded
On the case of the school pupil from Nsit Ubium , whose both eyes is cover up by strange growth ,the coordinator of Family Empowerment and Youths Reorientation Programme (FEYReP) says that the boy is undergoing laboratory test and x rays to ascertain , whether the infection is cancerous and to also have the right referral to where he will be best treated .
she was optimistic that, in less than one month, all the results will be out ,but the public should be rest assured that, Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel , who she described as the compassionate mother of the State, will not rest until the boy is well and hearty to return back to school .
