Few days back the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel had announced during the Youth solidarity Rally that heavy equipments for the manufacturing of Pencils, Toothpicks and others allied products will arrive Akwa Ibom State.
Today, container loads of these equipments arrived Dekan Industry Limited, Ekom Iman, Etinan.
While interacting with newsmen, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process, Mr. Ufot Ebong said the State Government is partnering with Dekan Industry Limited to create more employment opportunities for the teaming Youth of Akwa Ibom State.
The factory had already began test production of pressure pipes, rubber containers and PVC ceilings .
