Eyitayo may pick INEC from Legal angles, as INEC repeatedly violate electoral laws.

The information according the REPORTER TIMES as monitored from Ondo State, Akure state capital says that the PDP candidate Mr. Eyitayo Jegede may pick INEC seriously via legal means as the commission repeatedly violates its own electoral laws.

Mr Eyitayo Jegede  a grassroot mobilizer and highly accepted by his people was able to scale all the legal tussle in his party two days into the elections, and call on the Independent Electoral Commission to postpone the election but INEC objected in flagrant disobedient to its own laws saying that they have committed billions of Naira to the election not minding the legal consequences.

INEC laws says that candidates must submit their agent list to the commission not later than 15 days into the election.

Mr Jimoh Ibrahim who was laying claim to the ticket under the platform of PDP had earlier submitted his list of agents which Mr. Jegede cannot use in the case of his own election for obvious reasons.

The Incumbent Governor, Mr. Olusegun Mimiko who is the Chief Security of the state also called for postponement in other for INEC to avert serious legal battle they may run into after the election which looks like a pre meditated and well planned election to favor a particular candidate in a party, however INEC remained adamant to go ahead by assuring him that Eyitayo can still submit him agent list, little did Eyitayo know that he was walking into INEC trap.

When Eyitayo approached the INEC to submit his fresh agents names, it was totally rejected without any explanations and INEC insisted that the list Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim submitted is the one they will use, the implication is that, Jegede cannot have control of the agents and cannot also be assured of their loyalty.

As it stands now, the only way the legal battle can be averted with INEC is for Mr. Jegede to emerge as the next governor of Ondo State as popular speculated in the state based on all the result trickling in as at the time of this report.
