Mbo Women Stakeholders paid the immediate past Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Victor Antai solidarity visit.
The visit which was to appreciate Mr Antai for his unparalleled role in the administration of Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel during his tenure as Commissioner turned out to be tears of joy as two distinguished women were rewarded with two cars for their dedication, devotion, and hardwork.
One of the beneficiaries of Antai’s largesse was Chief Mrs Angela Atte, wife of the Pioneer Chairman of Mbo Local Government Council, Late Chief Joseph Atte and a sister to the Deputy Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Princess Felicia Bassey. While the other beneficiary was Mrs Nse Otoku, PDP Women Leader, Mbo Chapter.
Mrs Angela Atte thanked Mr Antai for remembering and recognising her by extending his benevolence and called on Governor Udom Emmanuel on behalf of Mbo Women Stakeholders to reappoint Mr Victor Antai into his cabinet.
Mbo Women Stakeholders during the visit presented a portrait to Mr Victor Antai.
Honourable Member Representing Mbo State Constituency, Hon. Samuel Ufuo, Prince Chris Abasieyo, Hon. Ben Etibensi also came around to share in the joy of the women.
