The Special Assistant on Marketing and Brand Management to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Ime Uwah will tomorrow, Sunday 2nd October 2016 be taking their son, Master Kene-Abasi Ime Uwah to church.
Mr. Ime Uwah will also use the occasion to officially hand over a brand new church building to the African Church, Uyo Central Diocese, a project he initiated about three years ago to cater for worship and career counseling. The Church, The African Church, Emmanuel Chapel - Atan Offot model parish is christened "Domain of Praise and Thanksgiving"
The humble, focused, self-made entrepreneur, Mr. Uwah who is inspired by the need to create a career counselling opportunity for the youths in his community, says while growing up, he had good mentorship from his parents who where seasoned administrators and also four older siblings whom he learnt from their experiences in life and always tried to be on the right path.
The counselling center which will offer free services to members of the community, will afford them the opportunity to interact with mentors and career counsellors towards self-actualization.
Consequently, he will be playing host to members of the political and social class in his home town, Atan Offot, Uyo LGA.
