For The Records! Pinnacle Schools: Not How Long But How Well

By Iniubong Anako| It all started like a minute figment of vision. Many doubted their ability. They listed a thousand and one reasons why they won’t succeed. Not only that, they were totally wrote off and branded as losers even before they started.

However, in their utter ignorance, they did not realize that PINNACLE SCHOOLS had thoroughly formulated strategies at scaling over the land mines placed on their paths.

They transformed those stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Today, those stumbling blocks cum stepping stones are gradually taking them to the pinnacle. Surly, Pinnacle Schools is destined to the zenith, and to God ascribe all the glory.

In their nearly one year of existence, so many things have been said or written about this ivory tower. And everything said or written can be summed up by the fact that they came, saw and by the grace of the Most High, Pinnacle Schools have conquering, they have not conquered yet but taking cognizance of the fact that they attained greater heights within the short span they have operated so far, it won’t be long before they reach the Pinnacle. Once they reach the pinnacle, they won’t relent.
PINNACLE SCHOOLS would continue to improving, proving their critics wrong by helping in molding the younger generation to greatness.

Pinnacle Schools is a marvel. Their arrival is messianic. They represent the sure  foundation which every child needs. Their pedigree is a type which no one or few would dare to challenge. The quality they exude is second to none. And anyone who still questions their capability and commitment to offering quality education to the leaders of tomorrow only needs to be told or shown the mission statement of the school as well as their achievements.

I must say that their mission statement has paid off. From the outset, they declare that theirs is to “provide a solid foundation upon which each child (no matter the parents’ economic status) is developed and nurture to reach the pinnacle of his or her physical, moral, spiritual and academic excellence while positively impacting on the society in which they operate.”

Now, compare and contrast the Pinnacle Schools present status with the mission statement. Truly, they are accomplishing the set task. This mission is reaping dividends. Like the Biblical mustard seed, Pinnacle has sprouted. The impact has been quite massive. Tales of excellence are trailing them. Their light is sparkling, and darkness cannot and will never  ever envelope it.

Make no mistake, I don’t take pride in blowing their trumpet but I can't avoid mentioning that this institution at the 2015 children’s day celebration came tops in the march past event in the nursery/primary school category. In achieving this feat, they overwhelmingly defeated schools which boast of ‘world class’ facilities, staff and other know-how. Pinnacle defeated schools which have been in existence since the days of yore.

In academics, the pupils participated and won laurels in the 2015 edition of Omo Creative Competition and Omo Essay Writing Competition organized by the state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and sponsored by Unilever PLC. Their sterling performances won them fantastic prizes for the best first, second and third position in the nursery school category.

The management of this institution has taken upon itself to boast pupils’ knowledge outside the classrooms. Pupils frequently embark on excursion to various tourism sites agencies and establishment.
Recently, they went to the Ibom International Airport where they were conducted round the facility. They also had the opportunity of entering an aircraft where they were shown how the basic mechanics operate. In line with the free and compulsory education in Akwa Ibom State and in order to contribute their own quarter to lay a solid foundation for a brighter future of our younger generation, the school reduced the cost of educating their pupil, management had earlier introduced some financial stimulus within the school session. Such that, parents who have three children automatically have the third child tuition free. Space won’t contain if I continue reeling their feats. I am of the belief that what is ahead is greater than what is behind them. They are devoting and committing their energies and intellect toward achieving their set goals.

With the dynamic and erudite management team led by Elder (Dr) Donald Usoro, Pinnacle School is destined to reach the highest heights. God is  their guide, and I am hopeful that He won’t led them astray after steering them this far.

I can’t fail to acknowledge the efforts of the Chairman Board of Directors for accepting Gods will to manifest in him and use him as an instrument of blessings to the upcoming generations through the dreams of the Pinnacle Schools, while others are concentrating on things that yielded no fruits or of no benefits to the society in which we leaved
