Governor Udom Emmanuel on 15th September 2016, receives rousing welcome from traders in Akpan Andem market as he declares every Thursday to be Ticket Free day in Akpan Andem and other markets operating within the boundaries of metropolis, he also promised to provides them with Interest Free Loan to expand their business.
The governor who was represented by his Special Assistant on Trading and Marketers, Mr. Idorenyin Rachel, who was accompanied by his counterparts Mr.Essien Ndueso, Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Mr. Joseph Okon, Special Assistant on Grassroot Re-orientation, their visit to Akpan Andem market in Uyo shows the people are in love with their governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel .
The traders reaffirm that Governor Udom Emmanuel remain their choice till 2023 and at the same time they reciprocate the gesture by tagging it "Udom Bonanza Day".
The Transition Committee Chairman of Uyo local government area, Bar Mfon Ben, ceases the opportunity and reduced the price of ticket from N350 to N100.
