Ahead of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s scheduled visit to Mkpat Enin Local Government Area later today, the member representing Mkpat Enin State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Otobong Ndem has lauded the performance of the state governor, saying that the people of the area are proud of the governor.
As part of the activities to mark this year's Democracy Day/One Year of Governor Udom's administration, the governor will today visit Mkpat Enin Local Government Area for the flat-out of Coconut Plantation/Refinery Project and inspection of 5km Ikot Usop-Ikot Edeghe-Ikot Ekpuk Road and 30m Span Bridge.
Speaking with some of his constituents ahead of the governor's visit, Hon Ndem expressed satisfaction at the performance of Governor Udom Emmanuel in the area, saying that the various developmental projects which the governor has brought to the area were very commendable.
The lawmaker, who used the opportunity to welcome the governor to the area, said that the visit will be historic as it commemorates the governor's first year anniversary, assuring that the people of the area are in high spirit and will Accord the governor a very rousing welcome.
The lawmaker also used the opportunity to invite the immediate past deputy governor of the state, Noble Lady Valerie Ebe; the Honorable Commissioner for Rural Development, Rt. Hon. Ekong Sampson; the Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Ephraim Akpan; SA to Governor on Power, Mr. Mayen Etukudoh; transition committee members, traditional rulers; stakeholders; leaders of thoughts and the entire people of Mkpat Enin to come out en-mass and welcome the welcome.
