It was a sigh of relief and acceptance back to the fold last Sunday at Ukpom, Abak, when one of APC chieftain in Abak, Mr. Udeme Innocent Nyah with over 200 stronghold supporters publicly denounced their membership and declared total support for Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The unplanned event happened when the transition chairman of Abak Local government area, Hon Emmanuel Udosen paid a surprise visit to the area to interact and relax with Ukpom youth despite their political difference.
The APC chieftain during his speech, said he has decided to dump his party and their Governorship candidate, Mr Umana Umana due to the confidence and stability the present transition chairman has brought to Abak Local government area.
"Today we decided to dismantle our former party billboard because we are very happy that Abak under Hon. Emmanuel Udosen has returned to its glory days, where people despite their political beliefs can sit and interact with each other without fear of being harassed " - He added.
In his remark, The Transition chairman, Hon Emmanuel Udosen took time to list out all the developmental and Industrialization plans of Governor Udom Emmanuel, emphasizing that with the establishment of AIT Digital Transmission Complex in Abak, the station when fully in operation will create thousands of jobs to the teeming youth likewise the agricultural revolution plan.
He solicited with the youth in the area to keep faith with the present administration as Abak stands a greater chance of benefiting more due to its endowed economic potentials that can easily attract investors.
