The Telegraph has just driven the new Bentley Bentayga, the most controversial model in the British luxury car maker's history. But Bentley is far from the only brand readying a new SUV. In the coming year, plenty of other manufacturers who've never produced anything designed to go within 100 metres of mud will enter this market because, put simply, that's where the money is these days.
At the same time, established 4x4 marques will be back with their own new models to help fight off the onslaught. All of this has to be good news for the car buyer, who will have more choice than ever
