[BREAKING NEWS] AKWA IBOM PDP AND APC FINALLY REACHED AGREEMENT #UdomMustStay

On 25th December 1914 during the heat of World War 1, both British and German troops on the battlefield exchanged gifts and played football instead of fighting.
This gesture was what came to be known as the Legendary "Christmas Truce".

In the last one year or so both the PDP faithfuls in the state and their brethren in APC have disagreed about everything under the sun. They have fought and left each other breathless. But today December 25th, 2015, they have reached an agreement for the first time.

Today all have agreed that The Star which the three wise men saw according to Matthew 2: 9-11 is our savior Jesus Christ who came to the world to save all mankind without discrimination. Whether PDP, APC, LP or those without party - He gave us love and showed us a path of love. Today we find a common ground to agree, that our redeemer "Loveth indeed".

So let's play football instead of propaganda, let's show love in place of hate. Let the rhetorics change. Let's leave party and politics today and celebrate our common humanity. Let's remember the fact that we are stuck with each other; that geography has brought us together; we have no other place to go than with each other.

For inspite of our perceived differences we buy and sell with each other; worship in same places of worship; live in same streets, hamlets, villages, wards and local governments.

Our children attend same schools and play with each other all because God has made it so. We must therefore come to terms with the fact that we need each other.

We must learn to care for each other - that's the way it should be. We must find a way to return to the harmony and peaceful co-existence which we have had all these years.
Join hands and build the state.
