He said the people of Akwa Ibom have gained much from the PDP leadership and will continue to support the government to attract more meaningful development to the state.
Armstrong, who has just been appointed as the Governor’s Special Assistant on Agricultural Projects Monitoring said that he was honoured by the appointment and will remain loyal and supportive to the administration.
The celebrated Akwa Ibom’s finest artiste dismissed the recent cancellation of the governorship election by the Appeal Court and reasoned that since the PDP is fully on ground, any election rerun will be won by Governor Emmanuel without any stress.
“I stand here to declare my loyalty to His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel my boss and to the entire leadership and members of PDP under whose auspices I operate as the Hon. Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring..and that stand l will maintain still n forever.
I love my job, l love my Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, l love PDP.”
He denied claims that he was disturbed by the Appeal Court Ruling and was going to cross carpet to the state opposition party.
“I am not an APC member, l have never been and l will never be.
I want to seize this opportunity to urge the entire youth of Akwa lbom State to remain calm and peaceful. Governor Udom Emmanuel is still our Governor and PDP still rules.”
According to him, with or without a favourable decision from the courts, Governor Emmanuel will be returned elected as Governor of the state by the electorates.
