WAR IN APC :UMANA WEEPS AGAIN IN COURT

The failed All Progressive Congress Candidate of Obong Umana Okon Umana wept in the Federal High court when as the hears the petition brought before it by Senator John James AkpanUdoedehe that the Court should declare him the legal elected Candidate of the All Progressive Congress and not Umana Okon Umana .

The petitioner told the court that the nomination was not conducted in cognizance with both the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria and APC’s by-laws. He prays the Court to invalidate the status of Umana as the Candidate of the Party in the last April 11th election.

Justice Chukwu’s Federal High Court has refused to grant the motion filed by the Umana’s Counsel that the case brought before it, be thrown out as it lacked merit, adding that pre-election issues are purely the internal affairs of the political parties as establish by the Supreme Court precedence .

But in his ruling the Justice Chukwu said that a political Party is not supreme to the constitution of Nigeria, and as such since Udoedehe’s fundamental rights as a valid member of the APC was impinged, the court has the right to entertain the suit on merit.  It would be recalled that Umana recently contacted the cabal of the Party to prevail on Senator Udoedehe to back out of the court process and also stop him from granting interviews that is damaging to his image.

The report also revealed that Udoedehe turned down the invitation initially but when he learnt it will take place in Aso Rock Villa, he agreed to attend the meeting since it was at the instance of Mr President. But on arrival at the villa , he was told from the first gate that there was no such meeting on the schedule of the Mr President.

It was gathered that as soon as he turned to go home, Senator Ita Enang called him on phone to come to Transcorp ,as the meeting will be held there. At Transcorp, the new venue of the meeting, the Uyo Senator met already sited former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Ita Enang , before much ado the meeting started with Umana Okon Umana kneeling down to beg Senator John Udoedehe of not being able to keep the earlier agreement they had, that it was his financial status that caused the delay of it implementation . The source also revealed that Udoedehe asked him to stand up as he was not God , that should be worship.

It was from then the former Vice President , Mr Atiku who went to television to tell the whole world that there are high manipulative strategy underground , that soon APC will take over Akwa Ibom and Rivers State . Atiku told Udoedehe to withdraw his case in the Court as Mr President has agreed to appoint him an Ambassador in a first class country, that they will prevail on Umana to ensure he gives him 1 billion naira every month, from the allocation of the State.  Udoedehe who in turn asked the former Vice President what is his interest in Akwa Ibom State?

Atiku was said to have told him that as part of his agreement to stay put in the party after he lost the primaries to Muhammadu Buhari, was that an Oil rich State in the South- South will be handed over to his total control . At the point Udoedehe could not control his temperament and shouted at top of his voice , Akwa Ibom State is not for sale , our State is not for sale , I will fight this till the last drop of my blood , so Umana you have agreed to mortgage Akwa Ibom fortunes to the North?

He stormed out of the venue abusing Atiku in his local dialect calling him a thief, who want to come ruin Akwa Ibom State, and when Senator Ita Enang tried to prevail on him not abandon the meeting half way , Udoedehe called the Presidential Aide all kinds of names , that he want to join Umana Okon Umana to mortgage Akwa Ibom State, because of the little job of peanut he got from the Presidency that posterity will not forgive them.
